Engineers and geoscientists dedicate their lives to their profession in order to make our world a better place allowing everyone to live a better life. 

They think outside the conventional. They accept no limits. They push boundaries. 

They raise the bar.

THE CHALLENGE:

Engineering and Geoscience covers a wide range of skills, so the association felt that their profession needed greater visibility.

With government and businesses, the brand challenge was to position engineers and geoscientists to be engaged in every relevant project to the right degree, at the right time.  

With potential students, the brand had to represent all that a career in Engineering or Geoscience could offer. 

Finally, it was important to brand the Association in a professional, current and credible way that the membership could relate to.

The brand keywords are SURPRISING / FORWARD THINKING / EXCITING / ADROIT.

The colour bars, the core graphic device of the brand, is influenced by the aesthetic of the logo. A system of bars set on a grid provides a robust and dynamic supporting element to further establish the image of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba brand. 

This network of bars can be treated several ways for maximum impact depending on the nature of usage.
